Organic sesame oil has a high smoke point and is ideal for frying. It can also be used in salads and many East Asian and South Asian cuisines. Light in colour and flavour, organic sesame oil is rich in omega-6 essential fatty acids and is very stable, containing natural preservatives and vitamin E, an antioxidant that has been correlated with lowering cholesterol levels. Apart from its benefits in the kitchen, sesame oil can also be used for oil pulling and as a face & body oil. (PS it also acts as a natural sunscreen!)
