PureCalm - natural herbal remedy for anxiety, panic attacks & stress

Is modern life getting 'on your nerves'?

Anxiety and Panic Disorders are becoming more and more common in modern life. Although exact figures are hard to come by, it is estimated that up to 6.5% of the population has suffered from a diagnosed Anxiety Disorder, while many more people struggle with uncomfortable and distressing daily symptoms of stress, anxiety and panic attacks.

Nervous stress & tension also play a significant part in medical conditions like hypertension (high blood pressure) and may also act as triggers for many other conditions. People struggling with nervous problems often report that uncontrolled anxiety holds them back from enjoying their life or from growing in their careers.

Whether the causes are financial, occupational, relationships or underlying psychological problems, it is important for your overall health to develop a plan for managing and reducing anxiety and stress.

Because anxiety (including panic attacks and OCD) can be so debilitating, people with anxiety problems may resort to psychiatric medication to control it. Prescription drugs are too often the the treatment of choice for the vast majority of people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. Some examples of prescription drugs used to treat anxiety are Diazepam, Alprazolam, Clonazepam, Inderol, Clonidine, Imipramine or Wellbutrin. There are many others.

While all of the above psychiatric drugs have undergone clinical trials and have been found to be effective to varying degrees in controlling anxiety and panic attacks, patients are not always properly educated as to the dangers of long term use. Many people find themselves dependent on these drugs and can build up a tolerance to them.

Many people, even doctors, are not aware that anxiety and panic can often be successfully treated by using a combination of therapy and natural remedies, allowing the person to be in control, rather than the drugs.

A Word From Michele - Clinical Psychologist:

"In my practice, I see many clients who have become addicted to medication prescribed by their doctors for anxiety. Over time they need to take more and more as tolerance to the drugs often develops. When they realize that they are addicted, many people find the withdrawal symptoms so severe that they are unable to stop taking the drugs. Withdrawal symptoms may include depression, severe anxiety, agitation, paranoia, delirium and even seizures. The longer one has been taking the drug, the worse the withdrawal symptoms and many people need medical management to help them through the withdrawal. While this is bad enough, it is my opinion that the use of psychiatric drugs also disempowers people, who then never learn to manage their anxiety in a more natural way.The irony of the matter is that more than 80% of clients who consult me have been able to learn to control their anxiety by means of natural remedies, anxiety management techniques and life style changes - so long as they are committed to the process. Many of my clients have told me that they would never have started taking the psychiatric drugs if they had known how difficult it would be to stop them."     - Michele Carelse, Clinical Psychologist.

    The natural way

Like many other symptoms, anxiety, panic attacks and OCD are all signs of an underlying problem. The holistic treatment of anxiety involves a comprehensive approach aimed at restoring nervous system and overall health and includes lifestyle changes, stress management and therapy if necessary - along with natural medicines known for their calming properties and positive effect on nervous system health.

If you are prone to anxiety, it is important to realise that monitoring and controlling stress levels and nurturing nervous system health is of utmost importance in order to provide a stable foundation. This does not mean that you have to lead a boring and isolated life! It does mean, however, that you should practice good sleep hygiene, avoid alcohol and other drugs, eat a healthy diet and have regular exercise. All of these healthy practices help to reduce the levels of stress hormones in your body, making an anxiety or stress response less likely when you are under pressure.

    Ingredients:

PureCalm contains the following ingredients in our unique 100% Whole Herb natural formula:

    • Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) is prepared from the leaves of the lemon balm plant, which, when rubbed between fingers, release a tart and sweet smell, like lemons. This herb has been studied for its beneficial effect on the nervous system and used traditionally for many years to bring about calmed mood and tranquility.
    • Lavandula augustifolia (Lavender) is another well-known herb which has made its home in countries all over the world, including Europe and Africa. Lavender contains the active ingredients tannins, coumarins, flavonoids, triterpenoids and volatile oil. It is best known for its soothing properties and as a tonic to support the nervous system.
    • Passiflora incarnata (Passion Flower) according to folklore, passion flower was given its name because its corona resembles the crown of thorns worn by Jesus during the crucifixion. Traditional herbalists regard this herb very highly for its soothing properties and as a general nerve tonic. In modern herbalism, Passiflora incarnata is known as a natural aid for the nerves, supported by many clinical trials.

    How has PureCalm helped others?

'Very Satisfied. I was caught in NYC during the blackout and I have to say I was not anxious or fearful. My motivation is back, my drive and passions are resumed and I'm not on edge. Thank you. Over time, there will be more of us that finally get it as to natural solutions. I am definitely a walking advertisement for Natural Remedies both from the effectiveness of your products and for the warm and timely service you provide." – Jo-anne

"I began working for a computer company after I graduated and I was soon promoted up the ranks. The higher I got, the more nervous I became until it began to affect my health. My stomach was always in a knot, I had headaches and I couldn't breath properly. When I had to do a presentation, I used to stress for about a week and I could hardly sleep a wink! I'm not really the sort of person to complain but I really couldn't take it anymore. I felt like resigning! Taking Mindsoothe and Becalm has saved my life and I have learned to control my panic attacks at work." - Keith, 29 years old

'As a mother of small children I sometimes feel as though things are too much for me. Not only are my stress levels high but I also worry about my children all the time, especially when they are not with me and in case something happens to them. Sometimes I lie awake at night imagining all sorts of horrible things and I feel exhausted in the morning. PureCalm has really helped me. I add it to my water bottle as you suggested and sip it all day. Then I take a dose with my Serenite sleep drops at night and I find I sleep much better. Thanks for asking - I can recommend PureCalm to anyone!' - Gail
