How to use
Soak until soft. Strain and then add to a pot, add two and a half cups of cold water to cover the beans by 4 cms. Bring to a boil; then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, partially covered and adding water as needed to keep the beans submerged. Simmer until tender, (35–45 minutes) while skimming any foam from the surface.
Note: After opening, store in a cool, dry place.
Tip: Try this quick Borlotti Bean and Garlic Dip for your next gathering with friends: Fry 4 cloves of garlic for 30 seconds in 80 ml olive oil, and remove from heat. Mix 3 cups of cooked and cooled borlotti beans beans, 80 ml lemon juice, half cup parsley, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and the cooked garlic in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Taste and season with salt and pepper!
