Preventing and treating your pets' fleas and ticks using natural solutions

Another active ingredient, Imidacloprid, has been found to increase cholesterol levels, and cause damage to the liver, heart, lungs, brain and other vital organs in pets. Spot on treatments contain a pesticide called pyrethroid which has been linked to seizures, brain damage and heart attacks. There's a whole list of nasty ingredients in the varieties of flea and tick control products, and studies have shown that they may be accountable for dangerous side effects in pets.

So how do we move away from harmful treatments and start controlling fleas and ticks naturally and safely?
